About Us

Lady Luck Flower Farm is a dream come true. We (Mike and Katie) truly love growing flowers, food, and herbs. To share the beauty and healing properties of plants with the world is a blessing and a calling we both feel deep in our hearts!

We started our farming adventure in 2008, renting beautiful bottom land in Candler, NC from Brad Martin of Southeastern Natives Plant Nursery. With the help of our families, we were able to purchase our own farm in Big Sandy Mush, Leicester, NC where we have been farming since 2012! We are so thankful for all the support we have received on this venture, seen and unseen, which is one of the reasons we named our farm after the Goddess of Love, Lady Luck!  We welcomed our son Garnet to the farm and  family in January 2014.

We harvest a wide variety of flowers and medicinal herbs for our customers from April to October.  We have plants, dried flower and holiday wreaths and arrangements available  through the winter moths.

We are strongly committed to growing food, flowers and medicinal herbs, as well as the stewardship of our land. We see the farm as a microcosm of our planet Earth, where individual organisms work symbiotically to nurture and sustain one another.  We don’t use any synthetics and try our best to work with local resources.
