Asheville Wedding Flowers
Our design philosophy revolves around and is a reflection of the seasons and mother nature. We use the flowers that are blooming in our fields and gather inspiration from the mountains and woods in the Southern Appalachian cove we call home.
We are so happy you are considering using locally grown, organic flowers for your wedding! We start all our flowers from seed in our greenhouse. We use a specially-blended soil mix of compost and highly nutritional amendments to ensure our flowers are adequately nourished right from the start. The flowers are then transplanted into the fields or hoop houses by hand and further amended with composted cow manure from a neighboring farm. We never spray them with chemicals. By the time you hold these flowers in your hands they are full of LIFE and (we feel) an added blessing to your ceremony! Katie has studied with various local designers as well as the fabulous Jenni Love of Love-N-Fresh Flowers in Philly, Sarah Ryhanen of SAIPUA in NYC and Katie Davis of Ponderosa and Thyme.
Full Service Wedding Flowers
Trust us to handle the floral decor from personal arrangements to intimate ceremonial space. We truly enjoy the TLC and craftwork of floral design. We can take care of everything from the bouquets, boutonnières and corsages to festive table décor and organic-romantic arbor arrangements. Full floral design services are a combination of your vision plus our design and are led by what is blooming out in the fields, or sustainably foraged from the mountains. We can also handle the delivery and installation, including break down. You are welcome to one half hour complimentary consultation with this option. If you are out of town we can meet and collaborate online. There is a $3,000 minimum for the full service design option with 50% of your total required as a deposit.
A la Carte
For those wanting to save some money by doing some of their own wedding flowers, but leave the heavy lifting to us, this is your option- and it is also our most popular. We take care of your ‘personals’ like the bouquets, boutonnières and corsages and you handle the tables and perhaps the ceremony decorations- it’s up to you! You can pick up on the farm the day before, giving you time to work with the bulk blooms. You will need to have space in a fridge (not the top shelf!) to store the bouquets, etc. With this option you are welcome to a fifteen minute phone consultation for orders including any installation design work. All other orders will be taken care of solely through e-mail. All orders will need to be picked up on the farm. Minimum order of 1 floral design piece and 3 buckets. We require 50% of the total to hold your date. This deposit does come out of your final total, but it is non-refundable.
Bulk Blooms: We Pick
If we pick the flowers, 5 gallon buckets of seasonal blooms are $95 each and we require a 3 bucket minimum. There are about 75-100 stems per bucket, depending on the bloom, see more info here. The buckets are grower’s choice, so it’s best if you can be flexible, like nature! If you are looking for specific blooms and colors, 5 gal buckets are $125. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit of your total to reserve your buckets. This deposit does come out of your final total, but it is non-refundable.
Bulk Blooms: Pick Your Own
If you want to come out to the farm and pick your own flowers, buckets are $80 each for a 5 gallon bucket. We require a 3 bucket minimum. We open the farm up for pick your own flowers from June 15th-September and require a $50 deposit to hold your spot. Please note that we do not save specific flowers for you or allow farm tours prior to picking.
